Vinyasa Yoga EXPRESS - Level 2

Danielle Vetter

Danielle started practicing yoga to compliment distance running in 2009. She loved the peace, stillness, and whole-body relaxation yoga brought. Danielle completed her 200 Hour Yoga Training in Indianapolis in January of 2015. Her classes are upbeat, athletic, and connect breath work with a strong physical practice. She hopes her classes will offer students a chance to find strength, a deeper understanding of their bodies, and balance and peace in their lives.

Off the mat, you can find Danielle hiking, boxing, or rocking out to a concert at White River State Park. Danielle holds a BS and MPA from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers).

Michelle Finch

Michelle Finch believes in the power of a practice rooted deeply in the fundamentals & mindfulness. She genuinely embraces the notion that an open heart & mind coupled with the alignment of body & breath can be profoundly healing to the mind, body & spirit of every yoga practitioner. Whether attending her specialty Yin yoga classes or the balancing Yang (Slow Flow), you will find her classes to be powerful & moving for the entirety of your being. Michelle’s light hearted, yet nurturing approach to teaching is guaranteed to elevate your spirit and place a lasting smile on your face. Michelle was first introduced to the practice of yoga in 2003 and although it took eight years for these teachings to truly sink in for her, looking back she can see this foundation, laid in her early 20’s, provided the stepping off point for her to realize the multitude of benefits yoga offers, both on & off the mat. Having personally felt its healing qualities, the rounded practice of yoga has aided Michelle in turning toward a healthier lifestyle, relieving her dis-ease of anxiety & depression, as well as overcoming a personal battle with addiction. After nearly 10 years in corporate human resources, she found herself being called away from the business world & in 2012 made the decision to re-dedicate her life to the path of yoga & has not looked back. Although Michelle is an ERYT-200 RYT-500 certified teacher, she believes that one should always seek further wisdom from the teachers that have come before her. Therefore, following the path of continued learning, she is humbled to be currently studying with the Insight Yoga Institute under the loving guidance of Sarah & Ty Powers. On top of her yogic studies, she is also currently enrolled in the highly acclaimed Transformative Leadership MA program with the prestigious California Institute of Integral Studies. When not teaching, Michelle spends her time outdoors (cycling, hiking, kayaking, etc.), traveling, enjoying time with her friends/family & sharing the beautiful journey of life with her husband, DJ.

Jillian McAfee

Jillian McAfee, Invoke Studio Manager, graduated from Indiana University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Fitness has always been an integral part of Jillian’s life as she grew up dancing competitively and attended several conventions and intensives across the country. At a young age, she also found a love for teaching dance. Her love for teaching led her to discover her desire to help others live healthy lifestyles. She chose to pursue a career in fitness, which, to her, became the perfect blend of physical movement and working with others.
As a health nut and Personal Trainer, Jillian has dabbled in most forms of exercise. The physical challenges of yoga are what intrigued her initially, but she soon found a connection much deeper. Yoga is more than a workout; it is a daily practice with continuous growth, both physically and mentally. Jillian completed the 200 Hour Power Yoga Training at CorePower Yoga in December 2014, and teaches a high energy vinyasa class that leaves her sudents feeling strong and energized! Jillian is continuously grateful for the opportunity to educate her students and see their yoga practices grow!

 

Megan Hochstetler

Megan was introduced to yoga by a dear friend in early 2009 as a way to gain more flexibility and incorporate balance into her fitness regimen. Yoga quickly became the forefront of Megan’s life as it opened up not only her body, but her mind. Megan has experienced a variety of benefits in her life as a result of her personal yoga practice, and through teaching she hopes to help her students discover the many joys of yoga in their own lives. She encourages students to challenge themselves and also honor and respect their own bodies during their yoga practice. Megan enjoys the hotness of a heated vinyasa class as well as a rockin’ playlist where she can let others feel the vibrations in each breath. Megan believes that everyone is capable of breathing and therefore anyone can come to the mat to practice yoga. Megan received her 200-hour teacher training in Indianapolis, IN and is a RYT with Yoga Alliance. Megan is constantly continuing her study of yoga and is currently pursuing her 500-hour advanced teacher training certification through Invoke Studio.
Vinyasa Yoga EXPRESS - Level 2 - Join us for a 55 minute (NON-heated) EXPRESS class. All levels are welcome. The instructor will present different options for the less experienced student and for the advanced yogi.
