Quad Reformer (open, 4 max) ***Must have prior reformer experience***

This class is taught by:

Jane Rupert

Jane has been an avid student of the Pilates method since 2007. After seeing firsthand the benefits of the work in her own body, she completed her mat certification through Power Pilates in 2009 and finished her full Pilates trainer certification through the prestigious program Body Arts and Sciences International in 2012. She works with clients in group settings as well as private sessions and is certified to teach on the full complement of standard Pilates equipment. She has completed workshops with Pilates Great Deborah Lesson (a long time student of Carola Trier who was a first generation student of Joseph Pilates) as well as courses with Thomas Myers' Anatomy Trains. While Jane considers an hour in the studio a challenging workout, she also finds it is an important opportunity to connect the mind with the body and to focus concentration and energy in towards the self rather than out towards the surrounding environment. Jane firmly believes the deep breathing that accompanies each exercise to be beneficial not only in class but in her overall physical and mental wellness. As a nationally ranked synchronized swimmer in her youth, Jane learned early on the benefits of physical fitness built on principles of length, flexibility, and graceful movement. Jane has a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Violin Performance from the College of Wooster and worked at the Indianapolis Museum of Art for 5 years prior to having her daughters, Annie and Maggie. She looks forward to growing her professional relationship with Pilates as well as continuing to challenge herself as a student—a crucial factor in deepening her practice as a teacher.

Glenna Nall

Glenna loves the mind-body connection inherent in yoga and Pilates systems of exercise. As an college athlete and still enjoying a bit of competition, Pilates and yoga offer a way to recover and build strength without stressing the body. Glenna comprehensively certified by Peak Pilates. Not stopping there, Glenna completed the Discover*Move*Inspire Masters in Pilates Teaching program (18 month program). The DMI program including a weekend with first generation teacher Lolita SanMiguel, providing additional insight into the history of Pilates. Glenna is also a registered yoga instruction (200 hour), completing her training with Ahna Hoke and Chuck Crosby at Invoke Yoga & Pilates. Glenna has experience working with pre/post natal clients, individuals with osteoporosis/osteopenia, spinal issues (scoliosis, disc issues), and individuals recovering from breast cancer surgery.

Alba Fernandez-Keys

Alba took her first Pilates class in 2003 and yoga soon after that while searching a low-impact alternative to Brazilian Capoeira. The transition felt very natural as the mindfulness, grace and precision inherent in martial arts transferred seamlessly into a mat practice. She soon found that the Classical Pilates flow was not only extremely challenging but also a beautiful moving meditation. Alba believes that movement keeps the body healthy and teaches us to become sensitive to its changing needs. Her love for Pilates led her to pursue comprehensive (mat and reformer) training through Peak Pilates. She completed her Level 2 certification in early 2016. When not on the mat or reformer you will most likely find Alba riding her bicycle or walking her two mastiffs.

Kelly O'Brian

Kelly has been involved in the health and fitness field since graduating from Purdue in 2006 with a degree in Health & Kinesiology. She really began to realize her passion for Pilates when she went back to school to earn an A.S. as a Physical Therapy Assistant. As Kelly began working in the physical therapy field she noticed
how Pilates and therapy meshed together, and how well her patients benefited from Pilates type treatments. Due to her therapy background, Kelly really enjoys helping clients overcome, work through, and prevent injuries. Kelly also reaps the benefits of Pilates
by participating in classes herself which have helped her feel stronger and prevent injuries while training for & running half & full marathons.

Bailey Croke

Developing a passion for ballet at a young age, movement has always been a fundamental part of Bailey's life. She spent many years studying different forms of dance and participating in intensives, workshops, performances and competitions to further her training. After graduating from Indiana University and entering the working world, Bailey quickly fell in love pilates, yoga, and barre classes to keep up the activity and discipline that she had with dance. In 2013, she took a step back into the dance world and discovered a surprising new passion in teaching. Wanting to explore that further, Bailey decided to bring her love for pilates and teaching together and completed the Peak Pilates Certification in June 2015. As an enthusiastic Pilates instructor, Bailey loves to teach a challenging and revitalizing class to help students challenge their core, balance, flexibility and strength to improve overall movement quality, mind/body connection and physical vitality.

Maria Leek

Maria is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher specializing in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Gentle Yoga and Hatha. She began her yoga journey in 2013 after running several half-marathons and the inaugural Monumental Marathon. She was looking for a way to gain flexibility and gain a better understanding of the mind body connection. She began her Pilates journey in 2015 after being introduced to the Reformer and immediately fell in love with it. She loves combing her experiences as a nurse, and yoga teacher with the classical teachings of Pilates. She used Pilates throughout her second pregnancy to ease discomfort and to obtain a quicker recovery. She and her husband co-own Acro Indy, a cheer and tumbling gym on the North West side of Indianapolis. She brings yoga, Pilates and acro experience to Invoke. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, two daughters and golden retriever.

Elizabeth Heidari

Elizabeth Heidari is a former professional dancer and choreographer recently relocated from NYC. She currently holds certifications in Pilates mat under LindaFit, hybrid apparatus training on the Flex Fitformer, and a Spin certification through Madd Dogg. She worked for some of the top boutique fitness studios in Manhattan, including CYC fitness, Flex Studios, Ludlow fitness and Broadway Dance Center, before heading down to the Hoosier state. Her body of work as a dancer consists of performances for SNL, VH1, Xbox, Roberto Cavalli, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, MIA, Florence + The Machine, and many more. Despite the move, she continues to work in a creative capacity for Heineken USA and continues to perform with The Knocks.

Elizabeth teaches a fast-paced, fun, challenging and musically-driven class with Pilates as it's back-bone. The hour is dedicated to safe body alignment, intention and it's connection to the work, working in a functional range of motion, and finding the inner-power during fatigue to come out stronger on the other side.
