This class is taught by:

Corrie Stewart

Corrie began practicing yoga in 2002 when her friend encouraged her to try an Ashtanga class. With the intention to inspire others to define their yogic journey, she received her teaching certification at the 200-hour level through Invoke’s Teacher Training Course in December of 2010 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She teaches vinyasa classes focused on breath awareness and building strength through a flowing, ashtanga-inspired sequence. Corrie also works in psychiatry research studying the effects of mindfulness-based interventions on mental and physical health within various populations in the clinical setting.

Yvonne Rodriguez

Yvonne’s journey began in 2005 when a friend insisted she attend a Yoga class with her. From that first experience on the mat, her passion for Yoga was born. Since then, she has been drawn towards both the spiritual and physical components of yoga and the constant challenges that it provides her. Yvonne completed her first training in 2009 with Christina Sell. Relocating to Indianapolis from Texas, Yvonne utilized the lessons learned on her mat to aid in her transition to this beautiful city where she completed her second 200 hr training under Eric Bryant and Ahna Hoke. Yoga has become a fundamental way of life for her, allowing an outlet to cope with one's daily struggles. Yvonne believes that anyone can benefit from practicing yoga whether it be to heal a physical ailment or provide guidance for one’s life toward a positive transformation and enlightenment. Her style cultivates a playful environment where movement with breath and the yoking of body, mind, and spirit are encouraged.

Jillian McAfee

Jillian McAfee, ERYT-200 and Invoke Director of Operations, graduated from Indiana University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Fitness has always been an integral part of Jillian’s life as she grew up dancing competitively and attended several conventions and intensives across the country. At a young age, she also found a love for teaching dance. Her love for teaching led her to discover her desire to help others live healthy lifestyles. She chose to pursue a career in fitness, which, to her, became the perfect blend of physical movement and working with others.
As a health nut and Personal Trainer, Jillian has dabbled in most forms of exercise. The physical challenges of yoga are what intrigued her initially, but she soon found a connection much deeper. Yoga is more than a workout; it is a daily practice with continuous growth, both physically and mentally. Jillian completed the 200 Hour Power Yoga Training at CorePower Yoga in December 2014, and teaches a high energy vinyasa class that leaves her students feeling strong and energized! Jillian is continuously grateful for the opportunity to educate her students and see their yoga practices grow!
