Kara Nefouse began practicing yoga in 2003 when the stress of a corporate desk job drove her to return to some of the purer elements of life. Having grown up in the fitness industry and enthusiastically participating in adventure racing, she was compelled to seek solace in some type of physical pursuit. This instinct, in a dual attempt to exercise both mind and body, led her to the practice of yoga. By 2009 Kara’s practice evolved into a full time career. In conjunction with her yogic roots, she is equally skilled and certified in Pilates, Spinning, Kettlebell and Personal Training. The core tenets of her approach are alignment, awareness and diversity. Kara takes frequent sojourns to spiritually stimulating destinations (Europe, Central America, Asia) to further her on-going education and refresh her knowledge of current teachings. The most recent trip was to Thailand, where she spent a month with Briohny Smyth and Dice Iida-Klein and received her 200-Hour Fit-Flow-Fly Certification. Kara is a big believer in continuing education and has completed numerous workshops with names like Maty Ezraty, Kathryn Budig, Noah Maze, Kino MacGregor and Sadie Nardini. Any class she instructs will be an open incorporation of new information, and insight into a mindfully practiced routine. Kara’s students experience a challenging and fun class, leaving them feeling refreshed and energized!

HEATED Vinyasa Yoga - Level 2 - Join Invoke for an invigorating and detoxifying heated vinyasa class. Be prepared to sweat it all out during our athletic flow in the heated and humidified studio. Bring a towel and be sure to hydrate yourself before and after class! This is an open to all levels class.
HEATED Yoga Sculpt - Level 2/3
A total body workout, Yoga sculpt classes are set to energizing music and designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. This class complements your regular yoga practice. Free weights are added, creating resistance and intensifying each pose. Strength-training exercises such as squats, lunges, bicep curls and tricep curls are incorporated to build lean muscle mass. Class is heated.
