Corrie began practicing yoga in 2002 when her friend encouraged her to try an Ashtanga class. With the intention to inspire others to define their yogic journey, she received her teaching certification at the 200-hour level through Invoke’s Teacher Training Course in December of 2010 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She teaches vinyasa classes focused on breath awareness and building strength through a flowing, ashtanga-inspired sequence. Corrie also works in psychiatry research studying the effects of mindfulness-based interventions on mental and physical health within various populations in the clinical setting.
