Christine Ghinder

Christine Ghinder's yoga journey began in the spring of 2013 in a yoga practice and theory course at The Ohio State University. Yoga became a physical supplement to her lifelong dance practice, but she found that yoga was an even greater supplement to her life mentally and emotionally. Christine graduated from OSU in 2016 with a BFA in Dance, a degree that brought her knowledge in kinesiology and Alexander technique, which has helped her to understand alignment within yoga. Christine did her 200-hour YTT with Soul Ascension Yoga in July of 2016 and moved to Indianapolis in August of 2017, where she quickly became part of the Invoke community. Her classes challenge the body and center the mind. Christine hopes to help her students expand their physical practice as well as their capacity for self-love.

  • Vinyasa Yoga - Level 2
  • Vinyasa Yoga - Level 2 - All levels are welcome. The instructor will present different options for the less experienced student and for the advanced yogi. Vinyasa, a style of yoga, is a flowing sequence of asanas that ties movement with breath. Invoke’s dynamic vinyasa focuses on the flow, strength and power of the practice.

  • HEATED Vinyasa Yoga - Level 2/3
  • HEATED Vinyasa Yoga - Level 2/3 - Join Invoke for an invigorating and detoxifying heated vinyasa class. Be prepared to sweat it all out during our athletic flow in the heated and humidified studio. Bring a towel and be sure to hydrate yourself before and after class! This class is recommended for the intermediate to advanced practitioner and will include more challenging postures including inversions. Students flow through the rigorous class working towards more challenging postures. Teachers will offer progressive pose construction to peak poses to accommodate students at different levels and allow students to progress toward more advanced poses in their practice.

  • $10 Community Yoga - Level 2
  • $10 Community Vinyasa Yoga - Level 2 - All levels are welcome. The instructor will present different options for the less experienced student and for the advanced yogi. Vinyasa, a style of yoga, is a flowing sequence of asanas that ties movement with breath. Invoke’s dynamic vinyasa focuses on the flow, strength and power of the practice. The same amazing Invoke class but a price point that is accessible and affordable to the entire community. Please feel free to use a regular package or pay the low $10 drop in rate.

    This four-class series is designed for brand new yoga students or those that would like to review the fundamentals of yoga. Basic alignment and breathing techniques will be introduced in a non-competitive, fun, relaxed atmosphere. Registration is limited. This workshop is the first four Mondays of each month DOWNTOWN and the first four Tuesdays of the month at our NW side location at Invoke Wellness Center. The workshop is progressive beginning the first week of each month. Please try and attend the first session. As a bonus, you receive 2 unlimited weeks of Bar Effect, Pilates or yoga classes for free.

    Cost: $55 (4 sessions, plus a 2 week FREE pass for unlimited yoga or Bar Effect/Pilates mat classes at both locations!)
