Teacher Training Director and Senior Teacher
Ahna Hoke E-RYT 500 began practicing yoga 15 years ago in central Pennsylvania. She has been teaching since 2001 and is a registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. Ahna has studied extensively at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts, as well as in the style of Anusara Yoga. Over the years she has received over 1200 hours of training in different modalities of hatha yoga. The life affirming philosophy of Anusara Yoga along with its elegant principles of alignment have influenced her personal practice to become more graceful and heart centered. In addition, she has over 135 hours of advanced pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation training and feels strongly that the breath is the link that brings the mind, body, and spirit together.
Chuck discovered Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga in 2001. He's registered at the E-RYT 200 level with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching since 2002. He brings a sincere commitment to his practice and teaching, and constantly seeks to grow as an instructor and a practitioner. He has studied with multiple master instructors and draws from each as he creates the sequences for his classes. Chuck believes in the power of yoga to open the heart, strengthen the mind and body, and remove the gray area around who and what you want to be in your life. His teaching inspires students to reach for greater physical, spiritual, and emotional awareness, but his classes are also known for laughter, good times and not taking yourself too seriously. "It's just yoga after all."
Senior Teacher Trainer
Cheryl Milton E-RYT 500 began practicing yoga in 2001 after the birth of her first child, Addison. Before Cheryl began her yoga practice, she was a group fitness teacher for eight years. Cheryl received her yoga training in Coastal Virginia. She trained with a focus in the tradition of the Hot Yoga Series and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Cheryl was the Director and Lead Teacher for the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program for Zen Hot Yoga Studio Virginia Beach, as well as the lead Founder and Lead Teacher for Passion Yoga School’s 2014 Yoga Teacher Training Program. Cheryl draws inspiration to teach and practice from her busy daily life: approaching her mat being open to explore, accept, reaffirm her passion for life and cultivate peace.
